Low Calorie Cinnamon Pita Chips

A lot of you asked what I was dipping into that Fluffy Cinnamon Spice Dip, so here’s the answer…

These little Cinnamon Pita Chips are ridiculously simple to make and have become one of my favorite sweet snacks lately.

I use the Joseph’s pita bread, cut it into triangles, give it a quick spray with cooking spray, sprinkle it with cinnamon and a zero-calorie sweetener, and toss it into the air fryer for just a few minutes. On my particular air fryer two minutes was plenty of time and three minutes was borderline burnt But you’ll have to figure out the exact time based on how your air fryer cooks.

That’s it.

One whole serving is only 60 calories, makes a surprisingly generous portion, and pairs perfectly with the Fluffy Cinnamon Spice Dip recipe I shared.

I’ve been eating them with the dip, fresh fruit, baked apples, roasted blueberries… honestly, whatever sounds good that day.

And if you’re not in the mood for something sweet, these pita chips work just as well as a savory snack. Just skip the cinnamon and sweetener and sprinkle them with your favorite flavored nutritional yeast instead. Frontier Co-op makes some great options. The nutritional yeast sticks best if you give the pita a light spray of cooking spray first before seasoning.

I also have a really good savory dip that I make with them, so if you’d like that recipe too, let me know and I’ll share it.

The recipe card is in the photos. If you make them, let me know what you think!
