A little life update

I start school Monday! I’m taking SIX classes this semester, which is definitely a lot. I made the President’s List last semester and I’d really love to do that again, so I’ll be working hard. The really exciting part is that I only have three semesters left. If everything stays on track, I’ll graduate next fall with my Bachelor’s in Psychology.

I’ll still be taking massage therapy appointments, but I probably won’t be posting quite as much on my blog because there’s just a whole lot of life happening outside of social media. I’m still traveling back and forth between Florida and Georgia, helping with tree work and keeping up with my own fitness goals. I’m still very much committed to my body recomp, lifting at least four days a week and keeping up with my nutrition. That is definitely not going to the wayside just because school is starting.

I’m also still a very active mom to my two adult kids. One is still in college and the other will be heading to law school soon. Being present and involved in their lives is still one of the biggest and most important parts of mine. I love this stage of motherhood and getting to watch them build their own lives while still being such a big part of each other’s.

And thankfully we’re heading into my absolute favorite time of year. I love the fall holidays, fall foraging, camping, hunting and just being outside when the weather finally starts cooling down. And I’m 100% addicted to hoodies and sweatpants, so there’s that. I also have several other really exciting things happening this fall that I’ll clue you guys in on a little later. 😉

So I may be a little quieter on here, but please don’t take that to mean I’m too busy for you. Please feel free to reach out if you need anything as far as massage appointments, herbal consultations, workout programming, nutrition guidance, meditation or breathwork. I’m never too busy to help. After all, that really is my true love in all of this. Helping people.

I’m just really grateful for where life is right now. There’s a lot going on and there’s going to be a lot to juggle, but when I look at what’s actually filling my days, it’s my kids, work I care about, school, taking care of myself, being outside and helping people. Those are all things that matter to me. I really couldn’t ask for much more than that.

Much love,

Melissa💛
